In the 1600s, the Tetsche family belonged to the Unitas Fratrum.
Persecuted for their faith in Bohemia, they chose exile carrying their beliefs, traditions and name across Europe.
They left their homeland. The Tetsche name endured.
In Solingen, the Tetsche family became renowned bladesmiths, crafting swords and sabres in one of Europe’s great centres of steel.
Their work carried the Tetsche name across generations struck into steel as a mark of craftsmanship and quality.
A name made to endure.
More than 300 years later, Tetsche Watches carries the name forward.
Our ambition is to restore Tetsche as a mark of craftsmanship and quality now expressed through mechanical watches.
The craft has changed. The name remains.
